Frequently Asked Questions

Our aim is to provide a relaxed environment for your dog but before we can do that we have to put your mind at ease.  Here are the most frequently asked questions.

My Dog is heavily matted, is that safe to groom?

A matted dog is a stressed dog, generally we can deal with most matted dogs although an additional charge may be added if the matting is excessive.  In some cases we might recommend being shaved by a vet due to the levels of matting.

My dog is sometimes aggressive can they be groomed?

Yes, as long as you let us know before starting the groom so we are prepared to deal with the aggressive dog.  On some occasions we might muzzle the dog during the grooming process to protect both the groomer and the dog.  In highly aggressive dogs we will not groom the dog and we will advise on what to do next.  A £5 charge is added for aggressive dogs.

Are you qualified?

Of course! being a qualified dog groomer is highly important.  We are qualified in safe grooming and bathing techniques, Dog handling and dog first aid.

Are you Insured

Yes we are fully insured to cover vet bills if something goes wrong during the groom.

I have 2 dogs Can they be groomed together?

Yes, we do provide a one on one grooming service but dogs from the same family can be groomed together.

Why does grooming cost so much?

The grooming process can take some time compared. On top of that we have a rigorous cleaning process after grooming every dog.  The costs are high as groomers have to deal with dogs going to the toilet (sometimes on themselves) dogs being sick, dogs biting and dogs who like to run around the table.  This is why it is important to get your dog groomed by a fully qualified and insured dog groomer which does come at a cost.

How Do I Book?

You can book online by clicking the book now button, or message us on Facebook or email and contact are telephone.

How come you never answer your phone?

When grooming a dog they have our undivided attention, if we left the dog on the table while we answered the telephone then there is a chance that the dog could harm or injure itself, and we wouldn't want that to happen.  If you leave a message we will get back as soon as we finished.
